    Software to obtain morphologic parameters

    FSA is a new software created to obtain morphological parameters by mean of the Fourier analysis of particles boundaries and digital image processing. A segmented image is used to obtain the spectral signature of particle’s perimeters. Successively Fourier transform is applied to the signature providing the harmonic amplitude frequency and the Power Spectrum. The harmonic frequencies are used to quantitatively analyze the particle morphology by means Morphological Coefficient sensible to different kind of forms (General form, Roundness and Texture). The software allows to analyze several images contained in a folder, a single image or a single particle.
